This piece was made in less than 24 hours to enter into a show entitled 'Tender', at Southern Exposure Gallery in San Francisco www.soex.org. The piece was accepted into the show, and it sold opening night. This is one of my favorite pieces, and while I was glad someone purchased it, I miss it. I never really got to know it.
When it is plugged in, the movement of the record player causes the arm to stroke the back of the sheep. The 'Telekinetic' feature of this piece lies in the abilities of the little baby girl in the bubble, who wills the record player to spin in order to stroke the sheep.
